- 20/11/08 - Final Inspection... bring it on...
- 19/11/08 - It's Wednesday..
- 18/11/08 - Carpet being laid today...
- 17/11/08 - Site clean out side and cleaners going well inside..
- 15/11/08 - Plumbers were in today (Sat) and yesterday...
- 14/11/08 - Guess it takes a while to put in 60 downlights....
- 13/11/08 - Sparkies again...
- 12/11/08 - Sparkies are in today, so we can see and the tilers have finished...
- 11/11/08 - Tilers won't leave us alone...
- 10/11/08 - Tilers are back again...
- 8/11/08 - Tilers in on a weekend... woo hooo
- 7/11/08 - Tilers still going
- 6/11/08 - Tilers on board
- 5/11/08 - Painters have now moved outside and the tilers have made an apperance

- 15/09/08 - Only one plasterer there today, apparently cornicees will be tommorrow... No brickies there though... I know who has them...lol..
- 12/09/08 - More plastering, only one guy this morning, Brickies are still there though..
- 11/09/08 - Still plastering, back to 4 guys..But we have the brickies back...lol
- 10/09/08 - Still plastering, now 5 guys...5 Roof tilers also rocked up for morning smoko and did nothing..

- 08/09/08 - Plasterers are there today. 4 of them...and the garage supports came down...
- 05/09/08 - No Brickies today..
- 04/09/08 - Brickies have now done 4 days in a row for two weeks running now... I am impressed...Insulation completed, I was told the plasterers should be here next week...
- 03/09/08 - Brickies are back again...3 days in a row...
- 02/09/08 - Brickies came back again..Insulation started going in...
- 01/09/08 - Brickies are back...
- 29/08/08 - Mozzed myself..... The best day of the week, & where are the brickies??? Not at our building site anyway..But the insulation bats arrived...

- 27/08/08 - Solar panels were installed today and the brickies are back..

- 11-15/08/08 -Bloody rained for the most part.
- 14/08/08 - Hole dug out for bath tub.
- 11/08/08 - Pre plaster inspection completed. Score 98%
- 08/08/08 - Brickies started work today...
- 07/08/08 - Our Dodgy lock up door arrived today and brickies mixer dropped off.
- 06/08/08 - Nothing Happened

- 04/08/08 - Roof tilers have finsished for the time being. They will be back later in the build to morter them in place.
- 01/08/08 - Well the bricks have arrived..
- 31/07/08 - Still battening and the tiles have arrived...
- 30/07/08 - Roof guys were there today battening down the hatches in prep for the tiles..
- 28/07/08 - Nothing was done by the chipies or anyone.
- 25/07/08 - Chippies up there today, I don't know what they were doing as yet I will find out more tomorrow.On another note our SS has left and our new one is the owner...cool..I hope he worries about our house as much as he does about his business..lol..
- 24/07/08 - We are wrapped.... Sarking completed.
- 20/07/08 - Ducted vacuum pipes being installed.
- 18/07/08 - Guttering, Facia's and Windows and doors installed
- 16/07/08 - Plumbing and Gas fitting started and completed today, Yippee...
- 15/07/08 - All trusses on house and garage completed.
- 14/07/08 - Garage frame work started
- 09/07/08 - Windows, Door Frame & Sliding Doors Delivered Today
- 08/07/08 - Trusses Delivered
- 01/07/08 - Frame Woks Started Today
- 16/06/08 - Slab poured today.
- 13/06/08 - Today it pissed down with rain all bloody day. So no slab today... Bugger...
- 12/06/08 - Slab framers completing their thing.
- 11/06/08 - Slab framers doing their thing.
- 04/06/08 - Plumbers finished their plumbing.
- 03/06/08 - Plumbers are in the ground, doing there thing. Danny our fencing guy started and completed his job for the left and partial rear fencing of the property.
- 29/05/08 - Piers have now been completed.
- 28/05/08 - Back to the tilers
- 27/05/08 - Onsite port-a-loo landed.
- 26/05/08 - Piers are dug and some pouring.
- 21/05/08 - Power box installed won't be connected untill slab is layed. Also had to go back to the tilers, didn't like our initial selections.
- 13/05/08 - Water meter installed x 2. 1. For normal water. 2. Is for the recycled water, otherwise known as the third pipe or purple pipe.
- 12/05/08 - Interim Approval for plumbing from Sth East Water
- 24/04/08 - We have water connection
- 18/04/08 - Site works start - Site scrape
- 12/04/08 - Tile selection complete
- 02/04/08 - Council Approval Plans Signed Off

- Vanessa is my wife of 4 years, Nicholas is our son he was born 26/08/06 and Bailey is our Golden Retriever he is 4 and can't wait 'til Nicholas is old enough to play with him. The name Arkraider was taken from MY first dog, a Golden Retriever (surprsie), his name was Ribbonwood Arkraider. He was a show dog and named after a battle cruiser from the 2nd World War.

Wow that was quick with the building contract!!!! How long did that take? I'm about to update our blog and you can read about all the CARP we've been going through! How exciting for you all! Can't wait for updates!

Hi Mel, the building contract basically took about 2 weeks from the time we settled on the land. But keep in mind we have been working at this site plan for this house since last May, adding, removing and swapping bits and pieces. So all in all, I guess, we finally agreed on everything the same night we singed the contract. We should get the first invoice, for deposit, in the next day or so. Then they can apply for council plans while we are away in Merimbula for Easter. Yippee....
