We might have a start..... I say might....

When I say a start, I mean now that Sth East Water have removed their digits from their proverbial, we will be, apparently starting on the plumbing of the site within the next two weeks.

I, hope we have the slab down and some frame work before the June long weekend.

We have also decide to get a zoned set up in the central heating system, there goes another $350.00.. Oh well, what can you do...

Also, whilst redoing the the orientation of the rumpus the builders moved of the window in the rumpus.
I can understand why this window movement happened as they were making the window from the dining room and opposing rumpus window be directly opposite each other. Which looked right, but,
  • I didn't ask for it to be moved

  • This would then mean I would have additional light bouncing in on the screen wall. Not what I want to have seeing as it will be a projector and screen.

So we have had the plans go back to the builder for the window to be moved back to where it was. It just means more delays, from where I am sitting at present.

I have been assured that we are not delayed, however....

Anyone for water, no stage 3a here....

We have our water taps installed today. You might notice the purple pipe and tapware, this is for the recycled water system through out the estate. It is also plumbed to the toilet system.

You will also notice the ongoing works within the estate in the background of the photos, especially the house behind us....

New plan of approach....

Nathan called in tonight, damn he is good, to drop off the new plans. He was supposed to be having his day off, sorry to Nathans wife and family. But a great big thanks to Nathan for turning it around so quickly...

New plans all signed, now to go back to approval with council and then get Sth East Water to approve them.

On a more positive note, I went to the block today just to say hello and much to my surprise there was a digger working there. I thought what the hell is someone digging on our block when we cant get anything to go forward, until the water crap is sorted.

When I got a little closer, I notice they were installing the plumbing and our nice and shiny water meters........ Yippeee....

Way to go Rawdon Hill, even though we can't lay a slab or plumb sewer they are not stopping anything else from moving forward....... Good job, thanks....
